A full day of music, creativity and community at the National School of the Arts

The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz returns to the National School of the Arts with Jazz for Young People, a family-friendly fundraising event celebrating the next generation of South African artists, musicians and creative entrepreneurs.

Taking place on Saturday, 25 July 2026, the festival brings young performers, established artists and audiences together for a full day of live music, performance, art and community activity at the NSA campus in Braamfontein.

A highlight of this year’s programme will be acclaimed singer-songwriter Msaki performing with the NSA Band, offering NSA learners the opportunity to share the stage with one of South Africa’s most respected contemporary artists.

Visitors can also look forward to performances by young musicians, a youth marketplace, creative exhibitions, food and activities for families. The event supports the National School of the Arts and its continued work in providing specialist arts education to talented young people.
