On Tuesday 27 May the renowned Doane University Choir from Omaha, Nebraska, USA, will be showcased in Concert at the National School of the Arts.

In what promises to be an inspiring evening of choral mastery, the Doane University Choir, conducted by Choir Director, Dr Kurt Runestad, will perform a diverse repertoire of both sacred and secular music. Tickets are affordably priced at R50 each, with all proceeds going to the NSA music department. With a legacy spanning a century, the Doane University Choir has toured extensively to 15 countries, including a notable tour to South Africa in 2018, where they performed alongside the Soweto Gospel Choir.

The audience will also hear the NSA Choir in harmony with the Doane University Choir in what promises to be a collaboration of power and musical diplomacy.

This special event is not just a concert but a celebration of music as a universal language, capable of transcending borders and fostering a sense of global community.
