NSA online applications for 2024 are open until 22 May 2023.
- All applicants MUST submit an NSA online application by no later than the extended deadline of Monday 22nd May 2023 to secure a live audition;
- Applicants are encouraged to upload ALL requested documentation before the audition. If you experience a problem in this regard, don’t hesitate to contact admissions@artschool.co.za.
- All applicants MUST attend a compulsory LIVE audition on either the 13th or the 27th of May, 2023. The admissions office will inform you of your audition time and date. Please keep both of these dates open.
- Auditions and callbacks are by APPOINTMENT only. The Admissions office will issue audition times on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Although it is NOT MANDATORY, all applicants are encouraged to upload a video audition in support of their application. Please note that this is a nice-to-have as opposed to a must-have requirement.
- Learners from out of town are encouraged to upload a video submission and contact the admissions office to help navigate the next steps.
- Applicants may be invited for a callback / second audition should the panel need to confirm an acceptance decision.
- PLEASE submit your applications as soon as possible to enable the candidates to prepare adequately.
- The GDE will make a public announcement regarding the opening of the Grade 8 online registrations for GDE schools. It is COMPULSORY for ALL GRADE 8 NSA applicants for 2024 to apply on the GDE online system once it opens. There are thus TWO application processes to complete before a learner can be admitted to the NSA
