NSA’s Music Department presents the highly anticipated 2nd Edition of the NSA Jazz & Pop Ensembles in Concert – a celebration of diverse musical genres featuring the NSA choir, jazz band, orchestra, and standout soloists.
Internationally Renowned NSA Alumni
This year’s performance is particularly special, as it welcomes back two internationally renowned NSA alumni:
Zoë Modiga – Multi-award-winning jazz and soul vocalist, known for her rich sound and storytelling through music. Reflecting on her return, Modiga shares:
“The National School of the Arts is a sanctuary, a place where artistically gifted individuals come together to be empowered. I am thrilled to make memories and magic with the students whose journey I intimately understand. This is my gratitude through song—a heartwarming, full-circle moment.”
Dr. Samson Diamond – Acclaimed violinist and former leader of the Free State Symphony Orchestra and Odeion String Quartet, Diamond has performed with prestigious orchestras worldwide. On returning to NSA, he says:
“This concert is deeply meaningful for me. NSA is where my love for music was first nurtured, and I hope to inspire today’s students to embrace the boundless opportunities ahead.”
