NSA Grade 12 Physical Theatre Production
11–14 March 2026 | NSA Theatre
The National School of the Arts Drama Department presents Kinétre – The Origi-Nation, a compelling programme of Grade 12-led physical theatre and choreography running from 11 to 14 March 2026 in the NSA Theatre.
Rooted in the language of movement, Kinétre explores physical protest theatre and embodied resistance. When words fall short, the body becomes statement. Each work in the programme pushes performance toward intensity, where gesture carries political and emotional weight.
The 2026 season includes newly commissioned work by theatre maker and choreographer Lucky Moeketsi, alongside original pieces created and performed by the NSA Class of 2026 under the creative direction of senior drama educator Thoriso Rorisang Raphela.
