The National School of the Arts presents its annual dance showcase, Dance Spectrum – The Origi-Nation, a celebration of South Africa as a nation of originators and creative powerhouses.

This dynamic 2026 programme features neo-classical ballet, contemporary, Spanish and African dance, including newly commissioned works by Oscar Buthelezi, Tshepo Zasekhaya (NSA alumnus) and David Gouldie. The season also includes choreography by Heather Dreyer, Laura Cameron and Gillian Bonegio, with live guitar accompaniment by Christiaan Hattingh.
