DESCRIPTION:🗓 Date: Thursday\, 25 September 2025\n🕖 Time: 19:00 sharp\n📍 Venue: National School of the Arts Hall\, Braamfontein\n🎟️ Tickets: R100 | Bookings via the MaD House (shop@artschool.co.za) or at the door \nJoin us for the National School of the Arts’ inaugural Classical Soirée — an evening of exquisite orchestral music\, moving choral arrangements\, and soul-stirring solo performances from our brightest young talents. \nCurated by NSA’s award-winning music department\, this unforgettable concert will feature a diverse repertoire\, from timeless classics by Faure and Puccini to iconic film scores by Ennio Morricone and Thomas Newman. Highlights include: \nPavane – Gabriel Fauré \nGabriel’s Oboe – Ennio Morricone \nTango (Scent of a Woman) – Thomas Newman \nO Mio Babbino Caro – Puccini \nThe Prayer – David Foster / Carole Bayer Sager \nUnder the baton of Lucky Moletsane\, Cecelia Manyama\, and Nqobile Mhlungu\, and with choral direction from Xolani Noveld and Bongani Makhanya\, the programme also features alumni soloists Ndumiso Buthelezi (baritone) and Naledi Dweba (clarinet). \nThis evening also serves as a fundraising event for the NSA music department – with all proceeds going toward instrument refurbishment\, music stands\, and new choir and orchestra uniforms. \nIf you’d like to contribute beyond your ticket\, contact us via shop@artschool.co.za – donations are tax-deductible (Section 18A). \n🎶 Experience the future of South African classical music – right here at the NSA.
